Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive to join our retail team in New Zealand. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers at the sales counter, managing product displays, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through professional service and product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently, including billing and cash/card payments.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising of the sales counter.
Keep track of stock levels and assist in inventory management.
Handle customer queries, returns, and complaints politely and promptly.
Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
Provide product knowledge and promotional offers to customers.
Collaborate with the store team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
Minimum high school qualification; a diploma in Sales, Retail, or Business is a plus.
Previous experience in counter sales, retail, or customer service preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a passion for sales.
Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
