Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Welder to join our team for various industrial and construction projects across New Zealand. The Welder will be responsible for joining metal parts and fabricating structures using various welding techniques while ensuring precision and adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.

Weld components using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, Arc, and gas welding.

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.

Inspect welded surfaces for flaws using visual and mechanical methods.

Operate cutting, grinding, and finishing tools as needed.

Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.

Follow all workplace health and safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.

Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and site supervisors to complete work accurately and on time.

Keep records of materials used and work completed.

Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a welder in industrial or construction settings.

Proficiency in various welding techniques: MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc, etc.

Familiarity with different types of metals (steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.).

Ability to read and follow technical drawings and welding specifications.

Certification in welding (preferred – e.g., AS/NZS 2980 or international equivalent).

Good physical fitness and ability to work in various site conditions.

Basic English communication skills for safety and teamwork.

Understanding of New Zealand workplace safety standards.

Additional Information:
Must comply with New Zealand Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) guidelines.

Work may include overtime, weekend shifts, or night work depending on the project.

Site induction and safety training will be provided.

Work visa sponsorship may be available for eligible international applicants.
